Before you can write a great college essay, you have to find the story only you can tell. Session 1 starts at the very beginning — reframing what the essay actually is, mapping the full landscape of essays you will encounter, and walking through two structured brainstorming exercises designed to help you find a topic worth writing about. You will leave with a list of potential topics, the tools to evaluate them, and a clear direction going into Session 2.

Having a topic is not the same as having an essay. Session 2 is where the building happens. We walk through a proven five-part framework that gives your story a clear structure from the first line to the last. You will learn how to open an essay in a way that makes a reader lean in, how to find and protect your authentic voice, how to write about challenges without centering the hardship, and how to get a complete first draft on the page without the pressure of it being perfect.

Polishing Your Essay: Editing, Feedback, and Submitting with Confidence
Writing the draft is not the finish line. Session 3 is where your essay becomes something you are proud to submit. We cover the full revision process from top to bottom, how to get feedback that actually helps without losing your voice, and every part of the supplemental essay process that comes after the personal statement. We will also talk about essay timeline, what to do when everything feels wrong two weeks before the deadline, and what actually happens on the other side of submission.
