College Knowledge Foundation (CKF) offers the Writing Your Story Webinar Series as a free educational resource to help students think about, plan, and strengthen their college application essays. By registering for, attending, or viewing any session in this series, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

Educational Purpose
The guidance shared in this series is based on research, professional experience in college admissions, and established best practices in essay writing. It is intended for general educational purposes only. Every student's story, background, and application is unique, and the strategies discussed may not apply equally to every situation.

No Guarantee of Admission
CKF does not guarantee admission, scholarships, or any other outcome from any college, university, or program. Admission decisions are made solely by each institution based on its own criteria, which often include academic records, test scores, recommendations, activities, institutional priorities, and other factors beyond the essay. CKF has no influence over these decisions.

Student Responsibility
Students are solely responsible for the content, quality, and accuracy of the essays and application materials they submit. How a student interprets or applies the information from this series is their own decision. CKF is not responsible or liable for any admission, denial, waitlist, deferral, or scholarship decision made by any institution, regardless of whether the student's essay reflects advice or ideas shared in a session.

Original Work
Students are expected to write their own essays and follow the academic integrity and application policies of each institution they apply to. CKF encourages authentic, original writing and does not write essays on behalf of students.

Not a Substitute for Individual Counseling
This series does not replace personalized guidance from a school counselor, college advisor, or the admissions offices of the schools you are applying to. Students are encouraged to consult these resources and to review each institution's specific essay requirements and deadlines.

Changes to Content
Admissions practices and essay prompts change over time. CKF makes reasonable efforts to keep information current but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most recent requirements of every institution.
