STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION
The College Knowledge Foundation (CKF) is excited to launch our Student Design Competition! We’re inviting high school students to create an original design inspired by education and the journey to learning. Winning designs may be featured on official CKF merchandise, including t-shirts and/or hoodies.
This is your chance to showcase your creativity and create something that represents the power of education!
How it Works
Theme: Education & Opportunity

Your design should creatively represent education, learning, or the path to knowledge.

You are encouraged to think broadly and creatively about what education means to you.

If you want inspiration, look through the website or go through our social media accounts.
What to Design
Students will submit an original design that could be used on CKF merchandise.
Your design should be suitable for items such as:
• Short-sleeve t-shirts
• Long-sleeve shirts
• Hooded sweatshirts
Designs can focus primarily on the graphic/logo artwork, however, if you want to focus on the entire clothing design, feel free to do so!
Design Guidelines
To ensure designs can be used on merchandise, please follow these guidelines:
Original Work Only

All designs must be completely original and created by the student submitting them.

Do not copy or trace existing logos or artwork.
Education Theme

Your design should clearly connect to the theme of education, learning, or opportunity.
School Appropriate

Designs must be appropriate for school environments.
Simple & Printable

Designs should work well when printed on clothing.

Avoid extremely small details that may not print clearly.
Color Usage

Please keep consistent with our branding guidelines for coloring.
CKF Branding

Designs should include the colors and a branded aspect of our logo somewhere in the design in order to make it clear that the design is connected to CKF. Look at our branding guidelines for more guidance on our colors and logos!
File Submission Guidelines
Students should submit their design in one of the following formats:
• PNG
• JPG
• PDF
If possible, please submit a high-resolution version of your design.
Designs can be created using tools such as:
• Canva
• Adobe Illustrator
• Procreate
• Hand-drawn designs that are scanned or photographed clearly

Upload your design along with your name, school, and contact information.
Deadline
All submissions must be received by:

Judging Criteria
Designs will be evaluated based on:
• Creativity and originality
• Connection to the education theme
• Visual appeal
• Suitability for apparel and merchandise
Prize
The winning design will:

🏆 Receive free merchandise with your design on it
🏆 Be shared across CKF’s social media platforms and website
