College Knowledge Foundation (CKF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering high school students—particularly first-generation, low-income, and minority students, as well as veterans, adult learners, and foster youth—by providing the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to succeed in their college journey. Through our comprehensive sessions and personalized services, we bridge the gap between high school and college so every student, regardless of background, can achieve their educational goals.
Position Description
As a Podcast Coordinator Intern at College Knowledge Foundation, you will help manage the scheduling, promotion, and distribution of CKF’s podcast, Untapped: Knowledge for College. You’ll work closely with the video and podcast editor, marketing team, and guest speakers to ensure episodes are well-organized, professionally presented, and shared effectively. You’ll also support outreach for podcast opportunities outside of CKF to increase visibility and awareness of the organization. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys media coordination, content planning, and storytelling in audio formats.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate guest scheduling, episode planning, and release timelines for Untapped: Knowledge for College
• Maintain a podcast calendar and organize show notes, bios, and promotional materials
• Collaborate with the video and podcast editor to ensure timely and high-quality audio production
• Work with the marketing team to promote new episodes across social media, newsletters, and the website
• Draft episode descriptions, titles, and supporting materials for podcast platforms
• Research and pitch potential external podcast opportunities for CKF team members
• Assist in creating teaser clips, audiograms, or highlight posts for social promotion
• Track podcast metrics such as listens, downloads, and audience engagement
• Contribute to brainstorming new topics, formats, and series ideas that align with CKF’s mission

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Interest in podcasting, audio storytelling, or content coordination
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, especially in working with external guests and collaborators
• Familiarity with podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) and how they function
• Comfortable writing show descriptions and promotional materials
• Ability to work closely with a creative team and meet regular publishing deadlines
