Position Description
As the Marketing Team Lead (Intern Team Lead) at College Knowledge Foundation, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the CKF Marketing Team. You will help coordinate work across all marketing roles—including social media, design, content creation, podcast promotion, public relations, advertising, and the student ambassador program. Your leadership will ensure consistency in branding, effective communication across the team, and alignment with CKF’s mission. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading creative teams, managing projects, and driving campaign success from start to finish.
Responsibilities
• Manage the Marketing Team’s overall workflow and ensure projects stay on schedule
• Coordinate and lead team meetings to maintain alignment and momentum across all marketing functions
• Work closely with social media coordinators, content creators, designers, and other interns to support collaboration and task completion
• Ensure that all content meets CKF’s branding, voice, and visual standards
• Review, edit, and provide feedback on posts, graphics, videos, and written content
• Serve as the point of contact between the marketing team and CKF leadership, providing updates and communicating team needs
• Assist in launching organization-wide campaigns and initiatives (e.g., Giving Tuesday, podcast promotions, event launches)
• Support onboarding and training of new marketing interns
• Track goals, report outcomes, and maintain documentation of processes, timelines, and tools

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in marketing, communications, or content strategy
• Previous leadership or coordination experience (formal or informal)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, ClickUp, or similar platforms
• Ability to support and manage a creative team
• Passion for education access, storytelling, and nonprofit work
