Through our comprehensive sessions and personalized services, we bridge the gap between high school and college so every student, regardless of background, can achieve their educational goals.
Position Description
As a Graphic Designer Intern at College Knowledge Foundation, you will be responsible for designing engaging and mission-aligned visuals to support our social media, presentations, events, and marketing materials. You will collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator, Content Creator, and other members of the marketing team to develop consistent and compelling visual content. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, an understanding of branding, and a passion for visual storytelling that connects with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
Design graphics for social media posts, carousels, reels covers, and promotional content
Create branded slide decks, flyers, and templates for events, webinars, and presentations
Ensure all graphics align with CKF’s visual identity, tone, and mission
Collaborate with other marketing team members to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives
Update existing graphics and templates as needed for new uses
Maintain organized folders of design assets for easy access and sharing
Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and campaign development
Keep up with current design trends, especially those relevant to younger audiences and education spaces

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar platforms
Strong sense of visual hierarchy, layout, and color
Familiarity with social media content formats and digital design standards
Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into effective designs
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
Interest in education, nonprofit work, or mission-driven design
