College Knowledge Foundation (CKF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering high school students—particularly first-generation, low-income, and minority students, as well as veterans, adult learners, and foster youth—by providing the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to succeed in their college journey. Through our comprehensive sessions and personalized services, we bridge the gap between high school and college so every student, regardless of background, can achieve their educational goals.
Position Description
The Donor Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator will support CKF’s Development efforts by strengthening relationships with current and prospective donors. This project focused role centers on donor communication, stewardship strategies, and follow up processes that help increase donor retention, engagement, and long term support.
This role is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, or relationship management.
Responsibilities
Draft donor outreach emails and messaging for fundraising campaigns and general engagement
Create donor thank you and acknowledgment templates for gifts and sponsorships
Assist with donor follow up tracking and communication timelines
Support stewardship efforts by identifying meaningful donor touchpoints
Help organize donor related data and notes in tracking systems
Collaborate with the Development team to align messaging with grants and sponsorship efforts
Contribute ideas to improve donor experience and retention

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations
Strong written communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar tools
Previous nonprofit or fundraising experience is helpful but not required
