Position Description
As a Content Creator (Video + Reels) Intern at College Knowledge Foundation, you will be responsible for creating compelling short-form video content that educates, inspires, and engages our audience. You will work closely with the Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Director to bring ideas to life through video, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through video, understands what resonates on social media, and is excited to create meaningful content that supports our mission.
Responsibilities
Develop, film, and edit short-form videos for use across various social media platforms
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute video concepts aligned with campaign goals
Repurpose educational content into visually engaging and informative videos
Ensure all content aligns with CKF’s tone, brand guidelines, and messaging
Coordinate with the Social Media Coordinator and Engagement Specialist to determine what video styles and formats perform best
Assist in creating scripts or outlines for video-based storytelling
Stay informed on social media video trends and recommend new ideas for content
Organize and manage video files for easy access and future use
Support the marketing team with video needs for campaigns, announcements, and promotional materials

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience filming and editing short-form videos using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot, or similar platforms
Strong creative instincts with an understanding of social media video trends
Interest in education, storytelling, and digital media
Ability to work independently and manage multiple video projects at a time
Comfortable working collaboratively with a remote team
Strong attention to detail, pacing, and visual consistency
