College Knowledge Foundation (CKF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering high school students—particularly first-generation, low-income, and minority students, as well as veterans, adult learners, and foster youth—by providing the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to succeed in their college journey. Through our comprehensive sessions and personalized services, we bridge the gap between high school and college so every student, regardless of background, can achieve their educational goals.
Position Description
As a Business Assistant Intern at College Knowledge Foundation, you will provide essential operational, administrative, and organizational support to help our nonprofit function smoothly. You will work closely with CKF leadership and the Operations Committee to support day to day tasks, maintain internal systems, communicate with team members, update documents, assist with scheduling and tracking, and ensure processes run efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, planning, managing details, and supporting the inner workings of a growing nonprofit. You will gain hands on experience with operations, administration, project coordination, and nonprofit management while contributing to meaningful, mission driven work.
Responsibilities
Operational and Administrative Support
Assist with organizing and maintaining CKF documents, records, and resources across Google Drive and other internal platforms.
Update operational documents, checklists, and internal guides to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Support the tracking of team tasks, deadlines, and meeting attendance using ClickUp and other tools.
Help maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and send reminders as needed.
Communication and Coordination
Communicate with team members regarding upcoming meetings, deadlines, and operational updates.
Assist with drafting professional emails, internal messages, and updates for leadership.
Collaborate with interns and team leads to ensure smooth project execution.
Process and Workflow Assistance
Support the development and improvement of organizational processes and systems.
Document workflows and create step by step guides that make internal operations more efficient.
Provide logistical assistance for events, webinars, or workshops when needed.
Data and Reporting
Help gather and organize data related to attendance, outreach, programming, and impact metrics.
Assist with compiling reports for internal use or external partners.
Support grant related administrative tasks such as organizing documentation or tracking required information.
General Support and Special Projects
Assist CKF leadership with miscellaneous tasks that arise across operations and administration.
Support special projects such as fundraising campaigns, board documentation, or onboarding resources.
Take initiative in identifying areas where additional support or organization would be helpful.

Hours
The weekly time commitment is negotiable and flexible. Most team meetings occur in the late afternoon Eastern Time to accommodate members’ full-time jobs.
