Every student graduating high school has to make a decision that will impact the course of their life. They have the option to discontinue school altogether and find a job straight out of high school. Others go to school, a big university, a local community college, or even somewhere just far from home. So many factors go into making your decision but it is best to follow your heart and do what you want to do. There are many different routes to follow but the best options may include college.
When coming straight out of high school there are options to get a job right away. This may a lot of times be the option for people that are done with the classroom and want to get into the working force straight away. This can seem like a good option, you make a lot of money right away working a full-time job, and don't have to go to class anymore.
The investment in college on the other hand can be well worth the venture. While it is a lot of money upfront and may take a while to pay off it can still benefit you in the long term. After you finish you can find a job with a higher pay rate than you would find without a college degree. You may have less money as opposed to someone that didn't go to college in the years fresh out of college, but over time that job you got with your degree will get better and better.
Factors can also most definitely depend on what you want to do with your life. Some career pathways are only obtainable through getting a degree. Making sure you look into what majors your college gives when you search is important. Follow the career path that you want.
