Laila Powell

I am a third year psychology major also aiming to earn a certificate in Youth Development and Social Justice at Penn State World Campus. At College Knowledge Foundation, I serve as a Grants Researcher and Writer Intern. My responsibilities include aiding in researching, identifying and pursuing grant opportunities.

As an individual hoping to later earn a master’s degree in Public Policy, with a desire to identify systemic gaps and suggest policy revisions, the foundation‘s mission to guide and uplift marginalized students really aligns with my passion.

I hope to see my personal writing and research efforts result in successfully acquiring funds amounting to at least $2000.
