Cara Rogers

I am a Penn State grad with a degree in Digital Multimedia Design and a member of the App Development team for College Swipe as a UX/UI Designer.

I became interested in the College Knowledge Foundation because of its mission to help students gain skills and information about the college application process, which they otherwise might not have had. I really enjoy the idea of helping younger people navigate difficult and overwhelming processes so that they can design the best possible future for themselves.

My goal with CKF, and more specifically College Swipe, is to help create an app that relieves the stress and overwhelm that many students face when searching for a school that is the right fit for them. Using my knowledge and skills in User Experience and Interface design, I hope to advocate for the user as best as I can and make the app as intuitive and enjoyable as possible.
