Free Essay Review

We’re excited to offer a Free Essay Review Week at College Knowledge! For the whole month of October, students can submit their college essays to receive personalized feedback at no cost!

How It Works

1) Submit Your Essays

Send us your personal statements, main essays, and supplemental essays for review. You’re welcome to submit more than one essay, whether it’s a rough draft you’re still working on or something closer to finished.

2) Expert Review

Once your essays are submitted, our team of experienced reviewers will carefully read through each one. With backgrounds in college admissions and student support, we know what admissions officers are looking for and what makes an essay stand out. Our focus will be on strengthening your content, improving your structure, and polishing grammar and mechanics.

3) Receive Feedback

After review, you’ll receive a personalized Google Doc containing your essay with in-line comments, highlights, and specific suggestions. Along with these notes, we’ll provide a short summary report outlining key takeaways.

4) Refine Your Essays

With the feedback in hand, it’s time to revise. Use the comments and suggestions to strengthen your essays, refine your storytelling, and make your application shine. Our goal is not to rewrite your essay for you but to empower you to put your best work forward while keeping your authentic voice intact.

Recording Notice

All feedback will be delivered as a Google Doc with your essay and detailed comments. You’ll see exactly where changes are suggested and have the freedom to update your essay directly.
