I recommend that new students engage in a variety of social settings, and be open to meeting new people! Some ways you can meet new people are by joining study groups, participating in residence hall activities, or simply striking up conversations with classmates. 

Go outside your comfort zone! College friendships can offer companionship, academic collaboration, emotional support, and networking opportunities after graduation. Investing time in building strong relationships can make your college years more enjoyable and fulfilling.
